The international standard ISO 29990 is an important tool for organizations (or even for departments of organizations), which are engaged in the development of training programs and the provision of training.
It is addressed to organizations outside the formal state education system (primary, secondary & tertiary education) and aims to manage all quality issues related to educational activities.
In contrast to ISO 9001, it is a highly specialized standard for the needs of companies operating in the field of education. It also provides for the management of all the subjects of the Greek Technical Specification ELOT 1433, but without being limited to the companies that operate as secondary education tuition centers or foreign language centers.
